About This Course
Beginning in May 2020, at the onset of global lockdown, we began to meet in a self-guided songwriting mastermind over zoom. Our aim was to alchemize the chaos of a changing world into songwriting. In the wake of our canceled tours, we met weekly, choosing a topic, study and style of song to inspire our writing.
The following week, we would share what we had created in the round, each taking a turn to sing our tune- finished or unfinished. This creative rhythm became the origins for Starling Arrow, and our upcoming album 'Cradle'.
Now, we want to invite you to go on the adventure with us into this same songwriting process.
Over 4 unique songwriting sessions, we will be guiding you into an emergent creative journey.
We share our processes of songwriting, how we work with the muse, and how we approach the task of tending to creative inspiration.
You will also be invited to create your own songs, offered tips to experiment with, and enjoy an adventure as a SongArcher in a community of songwriters.
